I need to know the overall height from the bottom of the keel to the top of the mast for boatyard clearance. Any measurement, base of mast to tip, etc would help. This is for a 1976 Ericson 29. I realy have no idea but it would need to be less then 44' 4" to clear some HT powerlines. Unfortunately I forgot my HS math of triangulation. Bob

Bob, you will need at least as much clearance
as the line insulators are long. Just get out your sextant and determine the subtended angle and how far you are from the boat and we can give you an answer. Or you can hoist a tape measure on your halyard and work from there. Just be sure to attach a down haul line to the halyard.
