MacGregor 26M Pulpit replacement

Hi there MacGregor owners, I have seen the post in relation to the 26x pulpit replacement although has anyone replaced the pulpit on the 26m?? I have removed the forward interior V birth access panel and removed the foam for the forward mounting nuts although the aft mounting I cannot access.
Would certainly appreciate info If anyone has determined what the secret is?
