I posted this in Sailor to Sailor but I'll post it here as well... Us old Cherubini owners inherited some old stuff....;} Help, As I feared there is no way to input 2000 for the setup of the magnetic deviation on my Sea Ranger Loran... Anyone know who owns Sea Ranger these days... I know the unit is software upgradeable but did anyone take the time to write the patch... Anyone been here before? Bob

I have an 1981 H33 with some original equipment. Part of it is a Loran C. I haven't tried to test the mag. deviation set-up on it since the new year, have not thought of that, until now. Anyway, I only use my Loran for my current Lat-Lon, I than (always) use paper charts. I know, I'm a cheater when it comes to navigation. I do carry a GPS, use it mainly for night sailing and when I'm alone and have trouble leaving the cockpit to properly navigate down below.
