Hiking Straps

You might want to consider making hiking straps yourself. There are any number of ways and the materials are available through a good sail catalogue. Also, check out racing web sites. Laser sites and parts catalogues carry hiking straps that might be a good fit for the 14.2.

Al, Call Catalina Direct at: Order Desk 1-800/959-SAIL (7245) Monday - Friday 8:30 - 5:00 Saturday 10:00 - 5:00 Pacific Time Or goto their web site at www.catalinadirect.com. I had to completely replace the entire mast and rigging on my old 14.2 These people were very knowledgeable, friendly, and had a fair price. The parts were genuine Catalina, better than the old original parts I was replacing, and fit my boat perfectly. If they don't stock the part (like a mast), they will order it for you. I'm sure they can get the exact hiking straps you need for the 14.2. Blake
