Looking for a sailboat by owner

I would like to purchase a sailboat 37' - 43' directly by owner. I have had so many bad experiences with brokers. Any suggestion? Thanks in advance

I used this site to sell my J24. New postings made all the time so you need to check in occasionally to see if there is anything you are interested in.

Also, check the classifieds in various yacht club newsletters. That's how I found my Beneteau F310.

I would echo JRacers suggestion. I am currently searching for a boat and have run across that site. I have also searched Craigslist for specific boats using http://www.onecraigs.com/.

If I may ask, what were the bad broker experiences? May be helpful for me to know as I continue my own search.

Join a few of the owners groups. I know there are a few B393 owners that are selling their boats.

Make sure you find a good outside company to do a marine survey of the boat.
