LANCER 36 FEET OXNARD
I recently purchased a 1982, 36 foot Lancer. My fist boat purchase.
I cannot find the hull number, looked everywhere. Can anyone advise me on this?
Also, my strut support for the propeller shaft is broken. Does anyone know where to locate a new support strut?

Welcome to SBO, Red Sails.
Congrats on the new to you boat. Looks like you chose a good sized boat and one that may have had some experience. It will be fun making it your own.

If you are having trouble finding the boat numbers I am guessing you did not get a survey?

Most manufacturers located their numbers on the stern in the upper right corner. Not all. You bought the boat in California, so if state registration the number would be on the title. If it was a Coast Guard documented boat then the number would be on the Certificate of Documentation.

You would find the CG number somewhere in the boat in big numbers (4in) on the Hull.

Pictures are always enjoyed when a sailor has a new boat.
