Tom- I have a Hunter 28.5 that has a ground wire running from the maststep to the Keel. Is this enough or correct? Should my electronics, engine, shrouds, etc.. be tied into the ground at the keel? The reason I ask is that we just had a P23 struck by lightning and it blew the transducers clean through the hull and it nearly sank. I would like to avoid this on my boat and help them understand how to protect their boat in the future. Thanks--
