After sailing for 4 summers, I noticed that my Capri become heavy aft (about 1/2 inch lower then normal. This becomes a problem when sailing with three people. Any advice?

You've got something somewhere

Sounds like you have something somewhere that's affecting your waterline. Any forgotten items that have shifted aft? Have you taken anything substantial out of the bow? Something is obviously different than when you first started. I've never heard of a boat "settling" like a house. Good luck! LaDonna

Heavy Aft

She may be right.... especially check to see if anything may have found its way behind the partition on the port side, at the foot of the port berth. This is the area below deck around the fuel storage area. It isn't really good for much storage or anything but if you pack things down in that side something may have found its way over the top of that little wall. Also.... how much stuff have you accummilated in the aft storage areas. Those tend to fill up over time too.
