I want to take the Lewmar Whitlock shifter case apart to check that everything is ok (maintenance).
The Lewmar manual doesn't provide steps to disassemble. It looks like you have to start by removing the rubber "Neutral" button and plunder. Then remove the nut that holds the shifter handle on (remove the shifter handle next.).
Do you then remove screws on the back side of the case to get the front face off (as well as one bolt from the top)?
Looking for any advice you may have to offer.
Regards
Stephen
