Why do you want new hatches? If your frames are still good they can be repaired.

True. But I found after much looking that if you need to have the lenses replaced it cost almost as much as new hatches and you have additional nuisance.

yes I have talked to them via email, I have sent them pictures of my 6 hatches and they gave me a ball park quote..........I will need to have a telephone conversion with them on friday................they seam very helpfull, but I am not sure what there prices includes (is this a total rebuild...glass, seals, latches, handles and hindges), I guess this is why I need the telephone conversion...

but they are not cheap and anything good is never cheap........there will be shipping costs as well....

but like the previous poster said how much of a savings is there........this is why I was looking at purchasing new........

I will have more info on select plastics friday and see what the real deal is

You can save money by contacting SailorMan.com in Ft. Lauderdale Fl. They've got a great facility if you get a chance to stop by. They will order them from Lewmar cheaper than list price.

Go to a local plastic/acrylic shop either with your old acrylics or a pattern and they will cut them for you. With a razor knife cut the silicone mastic and remove the old acrylic. One $7.00 tube of silicone would probably reseal all the hatches on a boat you might want to replace. The new acrylics will probably range from $25 to $40. I just completed a replacement. It is fairly basic work

I have bought new hatches and they have come in............just wondering (before I throw them out) if anyone on this site needs these old crazed hatches for parts........or an ice hut or............................

the thing is I am in toronto canada (pickering), so you would have to come and pick them up
