Legend 35.5 Owners, I am interested in buying a 1990 to 1995 Hunter Legend 35.5. I have noticed that Hunter offered two versions of the Legend 35.5. One version (1990 to 1992) featured only two windows in the aft cabin and sliding black Plexiglas doors on the main cabin cabinets. The second version (1992 to 1995) added three windows in the main cabin (2–port, 1 –starboard), for a total of five below the deck line and teak cabinet doors in the main cabin. It appears the deck liner was modified to accommodate the added main cabin windows. My question relates to whether a 1990-1992 version Hunter can be easily modified to add the three main cabin windows (below the deck line) like the 1993-1995 version Legend 35.5? Specifically: 1. Can the three (2–port, 1 –starboard) windows be installed relatively easily? 2. What modifications are involved: • To the Hull • To the Deck liner 3. Where can the window kits be purchased? 4. Is this a bad idea? 5. Is the long-term integrity of the boat compromised?
