Hello all, Sacripant is leaving tomorrow from Lake of Two-Mountains near Montreal, headed for Florida and then the Bahamas. Mast was stepped down today for the next 12 / 13 days until I get to the Hudson River. Anybody doing the trip I'll be glad to meet with you along the way. Because of insurance, I cannot get below the 35' parallel until November 15th. Any tips as to where to stay or what to visit to kill time ? Tips, recommandations, advice are welcome. Things that are a must, things or places to avoid.

Great Trip

Sorry we are putting on hold bringing our boat to Florida one more year, selling our NY house is taking longer. Where are you planning to re step your mast and how will be keeping track of the weather along the way. Do you come back north in spring and have a great trip, will you be keeping us posted along the way on this forum. Nick

Good luck Claude!

Can you post another pic of how you mounted your mast. I would like to do the Erie Canal sometime in the next couple of years on my H34 and would like some ideas. The trip should be great - are you going to post any journals.

Bon Voyage

Claude- nice to see another 34 doing this. I envy you- especially with the coller weather starting. We have friends who are in Brunswick Georgia with their CS33. Have been there for several months. Apparently a pretty safe hole and not too expensive.
