Ladder for scuba Diving Lancer 30-5

Hi:
I was wondering if anyone has tried to mount a ladder for scuba diving from a Lancer 30. The cockpit coaming is a little deep and high for most ladders. I also need to have a long ladder - ~31" of freeboard. I also have a full stern pulpit, which I don't want to modify or climb over.
Any suggestions?

On my Ranger I used to take the tank off in the water and tie a line to it. I would then climb the ladder and hoist the tank up with the line. Climbing up the ladder with the tank on was pretty much a non starter.
