I was thinking "Kent" when you wrote "Knapps." Getting thru Knapps is pretty straight forward, but watch and follow the markers closely. Remember it's "red right returning" from either the entrance on the east or west side. There also can be a 2-3 knot current around the bridge at times, so plan for that in terms of calling the bridge tender early on Channel 13 before you get too close. If you want to spend a night at anchor before going to Oxford, try going up to Dun Cove off Harris Creek just north of the Narrows. Also, Island Creek, about a mile east of the Choptank River Spider, is a great anchorage, as well.
