Just Bought a 36 Lancer info required

Reading in this fórum have learned that The Lancer 36' came with two configurations mine is 1979 : A standard mast head rig with a standard crusing interior OR as an optional Bruce Farr designed racing rig with a larger main and a shorter head stay and smaller head sails, as well as two different keel depths

Since I am not very familiar with it is there a way to know which configuration do i have on this boat.

Any other info will be useful:

Options to overhaul or change the engine, best prop options, fuel tank capacity, wáter tank capacity, hoe to use the emergency ruder(if i find it) how to service the ruder etc.

Also owners recomendation will be very helpful.

the side picture is the boat, the second one is a picture i found on the web that looks very similar.

If your head stay is running all the way to the top of the mast, you have the cruising boat. http://sailboatdata.com/viewrecord.asp?class_id=1602

However, if the head stay only goes up about 3/4 to 2/3 of the mast, she is the racing rig. http://www.septembersea.com/The_Boat.htm

I have reviewed de photos and the fore stay goes allthe way
to the top so it must be a crusing rig.
