Javelin Interior Paint

I'm currently in the process of restoring a 1970 O'Day Javelin. I'm nearing the end of the long process of replacing the transom, and it will be necessary to give the inside of the boat a face-lift. The inside of the boat has been painted with a pink-ish textured paint of some sort, and I'm having trouble finding information about what product this may be.

Does anyone know what sort of paint was used on the interior of these "classic" Javelins? Perhaps a new product would work better?

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,

Joe

As I recall, my 1969 Widgeon had the same interior finish, sort-of a hard, yet "rubberized" tan/pink/orange colored substance. It made me think of old fashioned car trunk spatter-paint. I never had to repaint it, but a few touch-ups that I did, I just used regular marine enamel. Perhaps a coating like a light-colored truck bed-liner paint? I might try Tuffcoat Marine coatings, (http://www.tuffcoat.net/wordpress/) they sell a water-based marine non-skid paint that is used for pool decks, boats decks, interiors of pools, floors In auto repair shops etc.

I've seen it used on ShipShape-TV and it looks pretty easy to do. They don't show a color that really matches what I remember from my Widgeon, but a couple are close enough (maybe a lighter color could be tinted to get closer?
