Nice Upholstery too, Eric

I noticed the upholstry in your boat Eric. Nice. Did you do that also or have someone else do it? Our 37.5 is going to need new upholstery soon so I've been looking around . I have found some nice fabric in a store here that sells remnants. The price is right but the problem is finding the pattern I want in enough quantity. I don't see any reason to be using Sunbella or any of the other boating fabrics as it is for the interior. I figure I can Scotch Guard any fabric I put in the boat or am I missing something. Tom, upholstery is way beyond my ability.

These are leather from U.S. Yacht Cushions in St. Petersburg. I was completely satisfied with their fabric selections and workmanship. You might want to give Bob Winkler a call at 727-528-9644. Good people to work with. /Eric S/V Foxfire

Just use satin over the gloss

Randy: If you don't like the gloss finish just give it a light sanding and recoat it with Satin finish. I am with you, the gloss just does not do it for me either. I also would highly recommend US Yacht Cushions. They do nice work and know how to build cushions for the marine environment. They have very reasonable prices too.
