Hunter 33.5 (1988) - Main Salon Berthing

Has anyone converted to table area in the Main Salon to a double berth? I know later models already had this option but when I purchased this boat it was not set up to allow conversion. Just wondering if anyone had any expereince doing this to their boat.

you mean but based on the 33.5 plan which is pretty much same as H34 look at the Photo Forum-H34-Major Renovations to H34- to see what I did to my H34.

I have a 1988 33.5 and use the double salon berth frequently. Lift the table up, remove the table leg and the table top drops down and rests on the bech seats to form the berth. Arranging the cushions correctly can be a challenge, however.
