Hunter 310 phrf rating?

I own a 1999 Hunter 310 wing keel and when I raced for the first time this past week they gave me a PHRF rating of 156, which seems too low compared to the majority of the other boats racing. Any other Hunter 310 racers out ther with a different PHRF rating?

West Florida PHRF rates it 174.

The rest of the country rates it between 162 and that 174.

All rating for a boat are different; it is based on local conditions. So you are below that range (8 seconds/mile), but that is pretty typical for race committees; they will give a few second knock below their guess for you not having your own rating. Our club uses a guestimate-3 seconds. They really want you to have your own rating.

Did it matter? Take the straight line course length in miles, then multiply by 3. Were you in that may boat-lengths of a boat whose place you wanted? If not its not that important. Yet.

My club would give you a PHRF of 182 with spinnaker and 205 non-spinnaker. Lake sailing - middle Georgia.
