I have an 86 23' Hunter. I would like to know the specifications for construction of the hull. From the keel to the chine. I have seen some Hunters siting on the trail and the keel below the boat is pushed up by an inch or so. I have seen people just raise the bunks on the trailer and it goes away. It appears to me that there must not be any ply wood in the hull on this boat at this location (around the keel). Is this the case?. Also my boat has some wood rot in the transom. My expereance on this problem with other boots tells me that I need to cut the glass from inside the boat to expose the wood. remove the rotten wood, dry it out and patch in another peice and re-glass. I would like to know how the transom is contructed so that I know what to expect. Is it a sinlge lay of glass, one inside and one out or multiple layers of both glass and wood? What is the thickness of the wood and what is the thickness of the glass? It appears that the the water came in and the lower mounting bolts for the rudder. Thanks,
