Raritan 6 gallon hot water tank keeps overflowing out the pressure relief valve...the new raritan pressure relief valve I installed to replace the old one that I thought was defective. Raritan tech support thinks it may be sediment built up inside causing the overflow, on both engine heat AND dock power.
So I have 3 choices. Try to repair the old tank, a 2001 vintage, buy a new raritan replacement for $800+ or buy a Seaward tank for about $300. Dont feel like dropping $800. Wondering which is more reliable, a 15 year old raritan or a new Seaward water heater. Anyone with reports on Seaward tanks?
