holding tank

I have 1990 30ft. the only thing missing is a holding tank for wast,Does any one know where it should be on the boat right now the wast is pumped over when we use the head. Any help with this wast tank will grateful Suds

Hi, I have a 1989 Cat 30 and the holding tank is under the port side (facing forward) seat that is at the table. I lift the cushion and there is piece of wood covering the opening to a large black plastic type box under the seat. I have Y valve that diverts the waste overboard or into this holding tanking. When I empty the holding tank, it can be pumped out at a station or discharged overboard through the macerator pump. Hope this helps CM
