There were leaks at the front hatch hinges on my 26d, and afterI rebeded them the hinges keep the lid from laying flat open, so it seems like a little weight on the open hatch would bend the hinges or make it likely to leak again. Yall have any cool tricks to limit how far it opens and/or prop open the hatch? I may do something for the lazarette while I'm at it.

I installed an adjustable rod on my 26S back in the day. Similar to how higher quality hatches work.

Got a source? Saw one at west marine for something like $50 which seem exorbitant for this boat.

It has been ages. I think someone in here had one laying around they so!d me. It was nice though, then the hatch can be an air scoop.
