Just read your primer on Alts in current issue of Practical Sailor--great job as usual. I know for those of us who frequent these forums and your site it's nothing new, but for those who don't, a well written summary that is sure to enlighten PS readers. Well done!

Haven't gotten to Thinwater's article yet, but I always learn something from him and look forward to his posts and articles as well. He, like MS have also been kind enough to assist me privately...great resources!

What's great is that PS publishes Maine Sail's material. It's usually a lot more correct than some of the drivel they publish. PS - one of those "love it or leave it" publications (I chose to leave it years ago).

Thanks Solstice... They had an article on alternators and I just dropped them a note on some omissions that I noted. They liked my input and asked to publish it...
