freeboard dimples

From the years before I owned the girl it seems the rigging and chain plates have pulled small dimples (3 each side) inboard from the hull. After investigating below decks,I found the location between the hull and teak paneling is not reinforced. Has anyone corrected this before?

Different Perspective

I have an Irwin 35 Citation. When i bought her in 2005 she had 2 indentations in the hull right below the chainplates. I questioned the owner and he said they were always there and no damaged had occurred to dent the boat. I aked my friend / surveyor and he helped me balance the rig and the indentations disappeared. Try loosening the rig and see what happens.I know it sounds crazy, but it worked for my boat
