Measured the length of the sanitation hose from my toilet to the holding tank, and it's a whopping 7 feet, mostly horizontal. Without doing the math, I'm guessing that it would require LOTS of water to clear it of solids. Maybethat's why there's an odor around the hose (permeation?), and why the tank fills quickly. Do you have a ballpark recommendation of how many pump strokes are needed to get the hose clear (and whether in fact a horizontal run like this ever really gets clear... or does the water just flow over and past the solids, leaving some in the in the line)? Thanks.
