Anyone remember Fonzie from Happy Days? Lately I've used the closed fist method to fix two items.
1.) Sticky tachometer. Wouldn't indicate above 2000 rpm despite engine sounding much faster. Two closed fist bumps and voila 3400 rpm indicated.
2) AC Voltage indicating 60v on my panel, but the multimeter at my AC outlets shows 120v. Again one fist bump to the panel, and 120 volts indicated.
If only all the other boat fixes could be so simple.
