Well the season is all year long in SoCal, but the first cruise for me is this coming weekend. Heading back to Dana Point Harbor (33.45975N, 117.695607W). This time of year should be a nice cruise. Just a day sail up 3/15, overnight with dinner at the Dana West Yacht Club and return on 3/16. Nine boats from the Santa Margarita Yacht Club (SMYC, Camp Pendleton) will head up in flotilla style. Wonder how long that will last. LOL

Going to singlehanded this trip. Not a big deal and should be fun.

Have fun. We did our first trip to Catalina Island over President's Day weekend and had a great time. We're already planning the next trip over.

June is the next cruise to Mission Bay. Then August back to Dana Point and Catalina in September with a stop in Dana Point. Not sure if I can make the Catalina. That is a week-long cruise. But I will give it a good try. LOL

Should be great weather for it.

Sounds great. Hope the winds cooperate. I've had a few trips north from SD where the wind was just right to pinch north enuf to sail most the way up to either Oceanside or Dana Pt. But honestly, of all my trips South going back home to SD between June and Sept have mostly been a bust as far as a "traditional" northerly wind to push me home. I either have no wind (most of the time) and once I had a 15kt southerly on the nose all the way home! UGH.

Have a great trip. Bob

Yeah, Bob, know what you mean. Winds predicted to be 6-10 NWN on the way up and 5-9 W on the way back. But we will see.
