That hose is painted from Catalina and the paint is just flaking off.Paul,
It's hard to tell from the pic, but the fuel return line on the aft injector looks like its been chafing on the coolant hose!
Usually nothing. I installed a carbon monoxide detector on the backwall. It does collect a lot of stuff that usually has to be moved before we leave the dock. What do you store in this space? My tackle box doesn't mind it when I open the engine cover.
We have a rule sort of, if you have something and do not know where itWhat do you store in this space? My tackle box doesn't mind it when I open the engine cover.
I was avoiding work this morning and surfing photos of C310s on Yatchwold.com. I came accross the photo below and thought I would post it.
I had thought about putting a battery here but didn't because I thought the heat would not be good for the battery. Any thoughts?
Yeah, but that doesn't mean it should be done. This owner took the time to build a nice wooden box for it, but there is no battery box, no fuses. I am also not sure if I would compare this to a car. Cars have more ventilation and don't get as hot normally.Looks like some one else has done this .........battery looks OK, like it belongs there just like on autos.
