I assume you are going ICW.
Before Ft Walton the ICW is twisty and referred to as the "Narrows".
On the north side of the ICW, just before you enter the Narrows, there is a cove.
Plenty of room and quiet. I have stopped there for the night several times when coming from Pensacola. Also you will find the Narrows easier in the day light.

I have done Panama City to Mobile and back several times, great trip, great weather this time of the year.

Enjoy
Bill

Thanks Bill

Cove sounds good. Probably what we'll shoot for the second night. Think someone said it is about 45 miles or so from Ft Mcrae. If the weather holds, outta do good going out.

Thanks for the reply. Have not read much yet, but I am pretty sure that was you at Barber's Marina last Sunday (I think) morning. We had overnighted that way and came through about 8:00 am. You were anchored north of the Marina. Got a huge kick out of your boat. Well designed, perfectly classic 'dodge the pirates' under the radar grunge.

I look forward to reading your travels.

Steve
