DIY galley alternatives

While I haven't experienced spending time on the C22 yet, that sliding galley seems like a decent idea with a few modifications.

For example, the C22 sailing association tech manual has a few photos from a member who added extra drawers and doors to it to increase storage.


Has anyone use the older pressurized alcohol stove vs the Origo 3000 ?

Just bought a Mac 25 without a galley and am interested in getting one. Sounds like one from a Catalina 22 would work too. Anybody got one they want to part with?

lemont.....this old thread above pretty much covers it....most do without, but it depends on how you use the boat, I had to defer to the Admiral and threw something together...most wouldn'd want to give up 24-30" of space down below. We (she) use it a lot. Learned many years ago, of my option to either be RIGHT or HAPPY in our marriage....I've chosen to be HAPPY!

2 pc 4/4x6"x6' sapele, a pc of scrap sandstone corian....damn, not a square/plumb/level 90*angle in a boat! Copied this concept from an old post which I thought was a good galley mod (if one must have one in a C22 '84)...fits like a glove against stbd bulkhead forward right @ the cushion...
