Here's the last 3 pictures of my replacement dinette table before I mount the hardware and stick her on Kelly Marie for good. These pictures were taken after 5 coats of Cabot UV resistant, glossy spar varnish with sanding in between coats and it really brought out the grain effects of the wood that I was looking for. Getting decent pictures with that much shine coming off it prompted me to give it a final finish wet sanding with 600 and then 1000 grit paper. That leaves a nice, glossy finish that won't momentarily blind you in the cockpit when the sun light hits it at the right angle.
