The ceiling panel on my 2005 Beneteau 373 has detached at the port aft-end near the companionway. The rest of the ceiling is fine, but that end is sagging and the attachment pins or screws are no longer holding. Any suggestions or feedback?
If all you want to do is reattach it, and the screws have pulled out of the hole, an easy fix is to take a wood toothpick, insert it in the hole, start the screw, break off the rest of the toothpick, and finish tightening the screw (but not too tight). The wood toothpick makes the screwhole effectively smaller.
