Decompression Valve

Hello all....

Having my values adjusted and was wondering. When removing the cover, what complications arise dealing with the decompression valve. My engine is a Yanmar 3HM35F (1986).

When the levers are in the "Normal Run" position, there is no interference..The valve cover will pop right off unless the gasket is stuck.

Thanks! I assume there are springs and such built into the cover.
