I have pulled the cloth covers off the V berth and aft berth cushions for cleaning. Has anyone cleaned theirs? There are no instructions and I'm a bit worried they may shrink and I'll find it dissicult to get them back on the cushions. Thanks. :)

Do you have cloth or Ultraleather? As I recall, there are instructions in the owner's manual for Ultraleather. I would take the cloth covers to a dry cleaner and have them done professionally.

Thanks, Dry cleaning makes sense and when I talked to Lew he recommended using the thin plastic bags used at the Dry Cleaners to get tthe cushions back into the covers. I am planning to intall a wind instrument package before I put my boat back in the water in March, any recommendations concernniing wireless system versus wired Ray Marine option (ST 60)?

I added a Raymarine ST60 wind instrument several years ago. I'm generally happy with it (and it matches my other ST60 heads), though have had to send the head back to Raymarine for repair. Don't know much about the wireless instruments from Tack Tick, though have read good things about them, plus no cable to run. Regardless of what you get, you'll need to fabricate (or buy from Selden) a mounting base for the masthead, as there's no room on the masthead to mount the unit. I actually have a picture Lew took of my masthead when he installed the bracket from a cherry picker - I'll see if I can find it.

Edit -- Pix attached. First one shows the Selden bracket attached, second is after moving the anchor light to it and mounting the wind instrument.

One more instrument thing to consider

Charlie, One other thought is that the Raymarine ST60 wind does talk to the Raymarine AP. I am not sure the Tick Tack will do that.

John's idea about the bracket is a good one. For the 309's would it also make send to get a bracket that can also extend your spinnaker connection out since you are up there anyway? On our 310's PaulJ got a nifty extension for his as the stock just doesn't do it; but we are a full masthead rig as opposed to the fractional one you have.
