I've never had to fly to my boat before so I never had a problem taking my inflatable PFDs. Yesterday at the airport I had to remove my CO2 canister from my jacket and give up my re-arm kit in order to board the plane. Has anyone else experienced this problem, or found a safe (I don't want to become a headline) and legal way around this? My boat is moored about 900 miles from my residence so driving instead of flying is not convenient. I suppose I will have to keep a store of CO2 locally and on the boat...
