Does anyone know if I can wash my saloon and cabin covers, they have come back from the Caribbean very salty. They (or were) the dark blue textured ones with a wool type backing
I carefully removed the cushion covers and washed them in a front loading washing machine, on the 'delicate' cycle, cold water only. Followed by air drying - no difficulty reinstalling and no shrinkage.
Wash one set and put some Dylon dye (one big packet) in have come up like new!! I am going to have to get the zips replaced but it makes them very usable and servicable. Just got to do the rest.
