Spent several nights on the hook in front of the ACE boat ramp in the lagoon just east of the new restaurant complex on the south side of the Canal. Its a cool town, and some amazing pictures from when the bridge was destroyed by an errant ship.

The Army Corps of Engineers Ramp at the east end of the lagoon.

What's the depth entering the cove? We understand it is deeper than charted but would love to "know" what you read going in.

I don't remember but it was close to low tide and the alarm on my depth sounder, set for 6 feet, never went off. I've seen larger boats than mine in there. It's artificial so the depth extends fairly close to the shore.
