Hi, thanks Daryl for informing of this site. Yes the Sirius21 is a great boat. We had done a lot of research on sailboats before buying ours and found that the 21 fit our needs very well and after many seasons I would do again. There are 4 Sirius21's that I know of on our lake.
We are Marcia and Bob and we sail out of North Bay Ontario and have our boat slipped at the North Bay Waterfront marina and sail Lake Nipissing. Lake Nipissing can be a challenge to sail at times, she is a large shallow lake that when the winds are right can become a roaring tiger with heavy waves. But it has many sailing destinations that can take days to visit. Our favourite destination is to the Manitou Islands, six miles south west of North Bay. On Big Manitou is a nice beach very popular with the locals. The French River area of the lake is reminiscent of the North Channel with many fine anchorages with out the maddening crowds. But a sail from North Bay to the French is not a day sail and anyone wishing to visit there should prepare for a week or so to enjoy it's beauty.
