I need to re caulk deck pates for life line stantions etc .. getting some leaking ..sounds silly .. if I caulk on the deck and set the plate on top, I'm like to get that oozzzz thing working here . I need a technique suggestions..THANKS ..
Rick - I would pull the plates, countersink the holes slightly, then fill them with goop (4200 works well) and put the stantions back down. You want some to ooze out so that the seal is complete. Don't tighten completely until the sealant dries to avoid squishing it all out. Justin - O'day Owners' Web
