Just like the last two mornings:

NE winds in the forecast, three to four days wait for crew to join me for the leg to NYC, I'm just hanging out.

I can think of worse places to just hang out. I grew up in Cape May. A great place to vacation and spend time just chilling out - It became a bit too much of a tourist trap for my liking. The fog should burn off early in the day. The next couple days are supposed to be nice weather wise. Enjoy the stay - if I were closer this week I'd show you around.

As I recall

As I recall recently you need some physical therapy? Now is time for some long walks? Maybe take camera and get us pictures? Say rent bike? Now is time for some exercise and rehabilitation, yes?

Does dink have oars? Rowing? Think dragon boat...

Looks familiar. We left Cape May in fog in May, 2006, and didn't see the sun until we hit Staten Island. Three days up the New Jersey coast, and we never saw land. Luckily, the fog cleared to 1/2 mile visibility each afternoon, which made it easier to find the inlets. That was before we were in cruise mode. We both had summer jobs waiting for us in Massachusetts, so we pushed it to get there in a hurry. We never did that again. On the way back to Florida, we took our time, and enjoyed the trip. So, relax and enjoy. That's what we do now.
