The cabin srtipes on my 89 235 are badly cracked and pealing. They really need to be replaced. Has anyone done this job yet? Where do i get the new ones? What is the cost? By the way as longas I am on the line. Check your lower tiller gudgun (spelling). They seem to lossen up with time. Any water that flows down the transom follows the bolts through and floods under the rear bunk. Mine leaked even during winter storage. You won't even know it until the mildew starts. Just pull out the bolts put some silicone around the holes, add a backing plate if there isn't one already, and tighten the nuts back on. I have no problems since.

Tom - I replaced all the original vinyl on my 1987 235 last year. I just called Beneteau in South Carolina and spoke with Ward in their customer service department. He sent the entire set of vinyl ready to apply. I think I paid about $250.00 and had it applied by White Bear Boatworks. It looks great! Hope this helps. Good luck.

Eric, you make it to the St. Croix anytime?

I keep my 235 at beachhouse marina in Bayport. If you find yourself on the river, flag me down. Thanks for the post on the decals. I'm hoping to do this also.
