The cabin sole in my 1985 Hunter 25.5 needs to be repaired/replaced. The front of the sole of the starboard side has softned due to water leakage from the chain plate. Also on the cabin sole aft where the entry ladder sits, the bolt thru the sole that holds on a small wood brace has pushed through the first ply and is dangerously close to breaking the sole. Has anyone else seen this problem? This seems a poor design to me. I unfortunately cannot get the bolt out. What I think I am going to do for the short term is the re-epoxy the plys back together and also cut two pieces of 4x4 to be placed under the brace against the liner for some additional support. Does anyone know of any resources/suggestions that may help me with my repair? Can one order a new sole from hunter? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
