what do you guys recommend for brass cleaner, quick, eze, w/minimum elbow grease? Have some big stuff to clean, used Nevr-Dull wadding back in my MC days, and of course Brasso....anything else?....thx in advance & happy 4th!

Was indoctrinated to use Brasso while in Navy bootcamp! Used cases of the stuff to polish anything metal in the entire barracks and belt buckles too. Can’t see myself using anything else!

I've found that Wrights Copper Polish works as well or better on brass than Brasso and requires almost -0- elbow grease. Available in most supermarkets.

We Army guys (you know, the REAL military) used Blitz Cloth a lot. That and Simichrome.

Actually try arm and hammer brand toothpaste with bicarb and peroxide, it does wonders on stainless steel. But stay away from tartar control!

I've heard of all of these products but only acquainted with Brasso and Blitz cloth. That was the early 70's in the Corps. I've been using Collinite Metal Wax on my stainless steel.

I was always pleasantly surprised with never dull-- truly amazing on stainless, as a salt water live-aboard it was a weekly (ish ) occurrence on my rails-- no doubt it will produce similar results on brass.
