Bilge Pump #2 on Your Electrical Panel???

Has any one ever put a voltage meter on Bilge Pump #2 switch on the panel?? As you know, beneteau's stock bilge pump is a low volume shower sump, pumping 4 gal per minute. I'd like to add a second pump to pump 1000, 1500, or 2000 gal per hour. I'm concerned that the OEM breaker at the panel will trip with the voltage draw of a pump of this size. Has anyone had this experience?

The breakers all have an amperage rating. Check the amp draw rating on the bilge pump you wish to install, and as long as it is less than the amp rating on the breaker, you're in business!JackOceanis 370
