Just purchased my first Mac25 (1980). I'm a big guy, and spent a few uncomfortable minutes on the narrow forepeak raising the jib. Over the winter, I plan to route the main and jib halyards aft to the cockpit to facilitate raising and lowering from the cockpit without dancing on the dancing decks. I have some rudimentary ideas, but would welcome any ideas from those who may have done this, worked-out the kinks and finally got it right - saving me the trouble of learning by experience. Any ideas ? Thanks - John (JAVERELL@WARWICK.NET)

Jib sail

Go with roller furling for the foresail. Never have to dance on the foredeck again. Good luck Kevin Rye, NH
