We race our Hunter 340 on Wednesday evenings at the yacht club (social racing), and occasionally on a more serious race. We presently have a 110 jib, and need a new one anyway. What size would you recommend? How big should we go before ruining the sail plan of this particular boat? Or do we keep with the same size? Just want a bit more speed out of this boat. Thanks, Don

Big as you can get

But it may only be a 120 because the leech runs up against the shrouds of the B&R rig. I'm having North Sails make me one for my H320 since the 100 (not 110 as advertised) is too underpowered in the face of the very wimpy in-mast main.

If.....

...you are racing your boat you may want to consider a code zero. A great light air sail for upwind work. The 100(110) that the boat comes with is nearly useless in those conditions.
