As of December 31st, Bruce Mundle of Chesapeake Holdings ceased operation as distributors of Bavaria Yachts into the USA due to the economy between the US and the EU. The following notice was posted today and so I am passing this on:

As Bavaria dealers you can contact Hooper's Yachts for parts requests www.hoopersyachts.com 1-800-377-8795 as we have access to parts still in stock in the U.S. and will do our best to obtain parts from Germany as well.

New Bavaria Yachts importer in US

Bavaria Yachtbau GmbH in Germany recently appointed Bavaria Yachts USA as its new US importer and distributor. This new company is preparing to launch the Bavaria Yachts brand in the US under new management, a new business model, and with all-new models designed by Farr Yacht Design and BMW Designworks USA. Operations of Bavaria Yachts USA will officially begin in May 2011, with a flagship office and a range of newly designed Cruiser models, in Annapolis, MD.

The customer experience, and service continuity, for current Bavaria owners, is of the utmost importance to the new management. Existing owners and past dealers are encouraged to contact us directly with parts and service questions by calling toll-free on (855) 222 1120.
