I am seeking advice from anyone regarding the Bavaria 47 Ocean. She is a 2002 model centre cockpit and looking for feedback regarding handling, blue water capacity, build issues, design faults- really any information is welcome. These yachts were built to compete with some of the better quality brands and production ceased at the yard in 2002. Reading various forums it seems Bav's cop a fair bashing on the quality stakes- owners aside.
As with many I would prefer to have deep pockets and buy some very obviously ocean focused and constructed delight- but just now my pockets are not deep enough.
