I believe I have just had a thermal run away in my generator battery. It got hot and smelled like sulfur for no reason. It is probably 5 years old but showed no signs of problems until today when I smelled sulfur. Has any one had this happen to them. Luckily I was here. The boat is a 1990 P37 with a built in charger. The other newer batteries are fine.
